The anxious wait is over for hundreds of students who are collecting the results of their A-levels and BTEC Diploma results today.
So far, Beaulieu, JCG and Victoria College have declared their results, which are as follows:

Andrea Firby, Head of Beaulieu School, congratulated the students on “their outstanding results.”
“Our results this summer are excellent and build on the on-going academic success we have enjoyed in recent years,” she added. “We are very proud of both the students and staff; their achievements are testament to the hard work of all our students and the inspiring teaching and dedication of our staff.
Nearly all Year 13 students at Victoria College have secured a place at their preferred universities or the jobs they wanted to launch their careers. Senior staff and the Careers and Sixth form team have been in school since early this morning to support and advise them as they make important decisions about their future.

“The results being collected today mean that our boys can move on to degree courses of their choice in a range of universities across the UK or start work in Jersey in a range of excellent and exciting roles,” Headmaster Alun Watkins said. “Whatever path they choose, it is an extremely exciting juncture in their lives, and we wish them the very best of luck.”
At JCG, where A* and A grades have increased by 13% over the last your years, Principal Carl Howarth wished “every success and happiness” to the students as they venture into the next chapter of their lives while congratulating them on their "excellent" exam results.
“Effort, perseverance and ambition combined with the great support and care of their teachers and parents, have enabled our students to excel not just academically but far more importantly as thoughtful, accomplished, courageous and kind human beings,” he added.

This year a total of 480 Jersey pupils were entered for 1,298 A-level examinations. The overall pass rate was 98.8%, higher the 97.5% pass rate for England.
59.5% of entries resulted in grades A*, A or B, while grades at A* and A accounted for 29.6% of all results.
Pupils who took the International Baccalaureate (IB) achieved a 95.5% pass rate with an average point score of 32.6, higher than the worldwide pass rate of 77.4 per cent and average point score of 29.6.
The Education Minister, Senator Tracey Vallois, congratulated the students saying: "You did your best, you made an effort and, whatever the results, you are valued. Well done for all your hard work and perseverance.
"To all the teachers, parents, carers and families, I would like to offer my thanks for all the support you give our young people.”
