Over the festive period, Express has been bringing you a series of songs and covers from across the island's diverse music scene, from original works to instrumental covers and pop classics.
Today it's the turn of 'Bossa Baseline', made up of husband-and-wife team Jules Wakeham and Carole Le Gresley.
The pair have worked together as pro musicians on the Jersey music scene for the last 20 years. They play weddings, corporate and private events, and you can hear them play every weekend in the Bay Restaurant of St. Brelade's Bay Hotel.
For Express's 'Bailiwick Christmas Covers' series, they've chosen The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole.
"It's an absolute favourite of ours," the pair explained.
"The lyrics are so evocative and if it wasn't a Christmas song, we'd be playing it all year round, as the melody and chord structure are sublime!
"We've interpreted it as a jazz shuffle, with Jules on tenor saxophone and Carole on nylon-string guitar.
"Merry Christmas to you!"
