A Jersey-born saxophonist, who has spent nearly five decades delighting islanders' ears with various styles of music in numerous local bands, has shared his own unique take on a Christmas classic.
Over the Christmas period, Express is bringing you a series of Bailiwick Christmas Covers from across the island's diverse music scene, from instrumentals to pop classics.
Today, it's the turn of Dave Andre, who is currently playing with the Brian White, Tim Horsfall Jazz Quintet and The Jessica Lloyd Band.
As well as regularly performing locally, he also teaches contemporary and jazz music.
He's decided to play the Christmas tune Silent Night on tenor saxophone to "give it a laid-back smooth jazz vibe"...
