A window display designed by a local artist – and made entirely of shattered glass – has gone on display ahead of the King's visit to Jersey next week.
Mixed-media artist David Prescott created the King Charles III portrait using one single sheet of laminate glass.
Entitled 'HRH C III See Me Now', the artwork is on display in one of the windows of Voisins on King Street.
The piece was crafted using a hammer and a metal workers pin.

After the initial first crack of the glass, David builds upon the cracks until the image starts to reveal itself.
He uses the cracks as highlights in the portrait, and allows the bounce of natural light to reveal the features of his subject.
The visual artist explained that the glass is symbolic of the transparency in the human character.
David said: “This is the King’s first visit to our island since his coronation, personally for me – I feel I understand our King more as I have matured.
"The use of glass in my art is representative of transparency and how this portrays the importance of transparency in the human character.
"How by revealing our cracks and flaws, we relate to people more and understand them as human beings.”
A similar celebratory piece by David was also showcased at Voisins to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
