Jersey Police are investigating the death of a man in his 50s following a car crash on La Pulente Hill this weekend.
All three emergency services dealt with the incident on La Pulente hill at 08:45 on Sunday morning, after receiving reports of a single-vehicle road accident involving a Silver Peugeot 307.
The driver had been travelling south along the Five Mile Road, before heading up the hill.
He was confirmed to have died at the scene. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

The road remained closed to traffic for much of the day while Police, Fire and Ambulance officials investigated what happened.
Police reported that it had been re-opened shortly after 15:00.
They thanked islanders for their "understanding and patience" during the closure.

The driver of the car has not been named, but Police described him as being "in his 50s." His family have since been informed, and are receiving support specially trained officers.
Police now want to know more about what happened. They are appealing for witnesses, urging them to call 612612 with any information or tomake an anonymous report via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
