A 50-year-old man accused of importing Class A drugs with a street value of up to £80,000 to Jersey is due to face the Royal Court later this year.
Mark James Maher appeared in the Magistrate's Court this week.
He is alleged to have imported 2,641 MDMA tablets, with a street value of between £50,000 and £80,000, on 6 January this year.
The case was deemed too serious to be heard by the Magistrate's Court. Mr Maher is due to appear in the Royal Court on 30 October.
