Police are seeking witnesses after a man reportedly hit another with his silver Audi following an early-morning row.
Officers said an assault was reported around 07:30 on Sunday morning in the area of the junction of Lower Kings Cliff and Queen's Road in St Helier.
"...Three men were seen fighting in and around a silver Audi estate car, which was stopped on the roadside," the Force explained.
"One of the men then got into the car and drove off and it’s alleged that the car hit one of the other men."
They added that "no serious injuries were sustained".
When officers arrived, one of the men reportedly became "aggressive" and was then arrested for disorderly conduct. He has since been released on police bail.
Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is now being urged to contact police on 612612.
