A 32-year-old man has appeared in court charged with forging a doctor’s prescription in order to obtain drugs.
Laurie Ian Murphy is accused of trying to exchange a fraudulent prescription in Boots pharmacy in King Street on 22 February.
He entered no plea to the charge of trying to obtain drugs by way of fraud.
He was ordered to return to the Magistrate’s Court on 1 June.
