A 27-year-old man was due to appear in Jersey's Magistrate's Court this morning, charged with grooming offences.
The Police say that Joao Manuel Mendonca Gomes was charged last night.
He is charged with grooming offences and attempting to meet a 14-year-old boy.
The Police say that the alleged offence was internet-based.
