A 22-year-old has been arrested and charged after an alleged knife attack during a gang fight.
Police said they arrested Sandro Gilberto Abreu Freitas yesterday on suspicion of grave and criminal assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has since been charged and remains in custody.
The arrest comes following a Police appeal for witnesses to an alleged group fight on Craig Street over the weekend, in which one man was reportedly injured with a knife.
Two men were aged 18 and 25 were arrested at the time. A spokesperson for the Force said this morning that they remain on Police bail.
They added that no one else is being sought in relation to the alleged incident.
