The Health and Safety Inspectorate has launched an investigation after a construction worker fell from collapsing scaffolding.
The man, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital after the Ann Street fall.
He remains in "serious condition".
Emergency Services were alerted to the accident at 13:38 yesterday. Ambulances, Police and the Fire Service all attended.
A spokesperson said no arrests have been made, but "an investigation is underway by the Health and Safety Inspectorate."
