Simon Mauger has won the Jersey Rally for the sixth time, following on from his last success two years ago and described it as his "hardest" victory.
Mauger and navigator Brian Cammack finished with a total time of 2:11:01.8 and the pair finished yesterday's stages in 1:31:53.0. Ross Le Noa and Domonic Volante came in second with 2:11:06.5.
Richard Fishleigh and Ian Edwards were third in an overall time of 2.12.01.4, with Darryl Morris and Steve Gully fourth. One of last year's winners, Sion Humphreys, came 15th, partnered by Ed Fossey.
Mauger said: "That was definitely my hardest victory. It was tough, really tough and winning is not getting any easier. We had a good team and I think we just held on but it was such a close, evenly contested race."
