The public are being urged to check gardens and outbuildings for any sign of Richard Romeril, as police release new information that the missing man bought camping equipment on the morning of his disappearance.
48-year-old Richard Romeril left his home address in St John at around 08:30 on Friday 8 September.
He was subsequently seen on CCTV in town, and police have now confirmed that he was buying camping equipment.
Mr Romeril purchased a green tent, a black and blue sleeping bag, a grey Eurohike rucksack and a blue foam sleeping mat from Blacks in King Street.
He was seen again on CCTV at B&Q buying an orange bucket and a grey tarpaulin at around 09:45 on Friday morning.

His vehicle, a black Kia Sportage, was located at Noirmont Point at around 14:00 on Friday.
Several witness sightings place Mr Romeril in the south-west of the island and, although police believe this to be the area he is most likely to be in, he could have travelled further afield.
