The four people hospitalised in a “major incident” at Mont Pinel last night are in a stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed that two adults and two children were transported to the General Hospital for medical attention following a reported explosion in a home in St Saviour.
All emergency services were sent to Mont Pinel shortly before 23:00 last night, and remain on the scene this morning.
Police said there was "significant damage to a property", and have declared a "major incident".
Chief Minister Lyndon Farnham said: "Ministers are aware of an incident that has caused damage to a property at Le Mont Pinel.
"This was declared a 'major incident', and that status remains.
"We are assured that the emergency services are dealing with the incident and that the site is being secured."

Four households in St Saviour were also evacuated as a precaution.
Constable Kevin Lewis said that there was "a loud bang" heard around 23:00 on Wednesday night.
He continued: "There was an incident.
"We were notified soon after and opened St Saviour's Parish Hall and staff came in, neighbours were evacuated as a precaution up to the Parish Hall."
He added that the residents had since gone to stay with friends or relatives and at least one family had gone to a hotel.
"The Parish has a system in place for these types of eventualities," the Constable said.
In a statement, police said: "The incident is being investigated and the cause remains unknown.
"The area around Le Mont Pinel is closed but traffic around the area is not affected and Mont Millais is open.
"Please be advised that as investigations proceed, further updates will be provided as they become available."
Island Energy also confirmed it is supporting the emergency services.
