Two police vans have been transformed into “moving billboards” for a campaign which aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and coercive control within Jersey’s community.
Police said that the two “striking” vehicles are “a visible sign of our dedication to protect and support victims and survivors”.
The initiative forms part of the Safeguarding Partnership Board's #SpotTheRedFlags campaign, first launched in 2022.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of domestic abuse and coercive control, regardless of a person's gender or sexuality, and provides resources and training to help employers to identify signs of domestic abuse in the workplace.
The police vans are wrapped with powerful messages and contact information to serve as "more than just transportation" and promote this "crucial" cause.
Islanders are being encouraged to reach out, confidentially and safely, if they or someone they know are experiencing domestic abuse or coercive control.
In an emergency, always call the States of Jersey Police on 999 for immediate help.
Their non-emergency number is 612612.
