The first of two application windows for the remaining £170k worth of Government-funded e-bike vouchers opens later this month.
Grants of either £300 (for standard e-bikes) or £600 (e-cargo bikes and adapted e-cycles) will be available on a first-come first-serve basis from midday on Tuesday 19 March.
Environment Minister Steve Luce yesterday announced that there would be two application windows this year, rather than the quarterly system used in 2023.
The second batch of vouchers will be available on Monday 8 July, when all remaining funding will be up for grabs.
These two windows will bring to a close the two-year scheme begun by the previous Council of Ministers.
A total of £300,000 from the Climate Emergency Fund was allocated to the scheme, which is designed to encourage people to switch from car journeys to a low-emission mode of transport.
Around £130,000 of the initial £300,000 has already supported islanders with purchases.
The first batch of vouchers will go live here on Tuesday 19 March.
