The first of two application windows for the remaining £170,000 worth of Government-funded e-bike vouchers opens today.
A total of 725 grants of either £300 (for standard e-bikes) or £600 (e-cargo bikes and adapted e-cycles) will be available on a first-come first-served basis from midday.
The second batch of vouchers will be available on Monday 8 July, when all remaining funding will be up for grabs.
Environment Minister Steve Luce announced last month that there would be two application windows this year, rather than the quarterly system used in 2023.
These two windows will bring to a close the two-year scheme begun by the previous Council of Ministers.
A total of £300,000 from the Climate Emergency Fund was allocated to the scheme, which is designed to encourage people to switch from car journeys to a low-emission mode of transport.
Around £130,000 of the initial £300,000 has already supported islanders with purchases.
Applications can be made via www.gov.je/ebike.
