Nightclubber seriously injured in glassing incident

A nightclubber suffered “serious” injuries in the early hours of this morning after being struck with a glass, according to police.

Officers said the assault took place in Havana on Bath Street around 01:50 on Saturday (1 June).

"The suspect in this assault struck the victim over the head with a glass causing serious injury," they said in a statement appealing for witnesses.
