The names of two more islanders missing since the major explosion at Haut du Mont flats at the weekend have been released.
Police say that Ken and Jane Ralph, who are 72 and 71 years old, are still missing following the blast which is suspected to have been caused by a gas leak.
Their families are being now supported by officers within the Family Liaison Team.
Earlier today, Police confirmed that at least seven islanders had died in the explosion, and they estimated that two more were missing.
Yesterday, with the consent of their families, officers released the identities of seven people who remain unaccounted for: Peter Bowler (72), Raymond ‘Raymie’ Brown (71), Romeu and Louise De Almeida (67 and 64), Derek and Sylvia Ellis (61 and 73), and Billy Marsden (63).
Along with Ken and Jane Ralph, that total now stands at nine.
