A police officer will appear in Magistrate's Court this morning over a crash in which the police car he was driving overturned on St Clement's Coast Road.
James Andrew Jenkinson (38) has been charged with a single count of driving without due care and attention.
PC Jenkinson was charged with the offence on Monday evening.
The States of Jersey Police have confirmed that he has not been suspended from duty pending the outcome of the criminal charge.
