Friday 13 September 2024

Police have released CCTV footage of someone they wish to speak to as they continue their appeal for witnesses after a man allegedly exposed himself to a woman walking her dog.

The alleged exposure occurred at around 09:00 on Tuesday 23 July in Pont Marquet Country Park, near to the Railway Walk.

Recently obtained CCTV footage shows a man retrieving his bicycle in the area, and the States Police said they are keen to speak to him or anyone who might have more information.

“We have now had access to some CCTV in the area and we would like to speak to the man seen collecting his bike in the footage," the force said in a statement.

Police said in July that the man who is alleged to have exposed himself was approximately 5’8 tall and in his early 20s.

He was described as clean shaven with a few dark freckles, with dark wavy hair which was curly at the front.

Video: The Police would like to speak to the man seen collecting his bike in the footage.

The man was wearing a grey tracksuit top and grey tracksuit bottoms, with a white t-shirt and grey trainers.

Before the incident, the man had walked past the woman and they briefly exchanged some words.

Police said that he had an accent that was possibly Portuguese.
