Seventeen extra stalls are popping up in the Central Market today.
The Halloween-themed event is raising money for Youth Arts Jersey who are based at St James' in St Helier and provide facilities for youngster to develop their artistic talents.
The centre, as well as having its own performing arts space, has three fully equipped rehearsal rooms, a 48-track digital recording studio, a radio station and visual media, dance and drama facilities.
The service also offers gig and performance opportunities plus a wide range of courses, events and weekly workshops throughout the year involving music, dance, drama and the visual arts.
The 'Pop-Up' events in the market run once a month and are part of a scheme encouraging shoppers to think twice, and buy local. Amongst the stalls dotted around the market local traders will selling homemade delights, street food, cupcakes, jewellery, arts, crafts and more.
Students from Youth Arts Jersey will provide entertainment for shoppers, with live music, drama and dance performances from 09:00 until 16:00.
