With islanders only limited to a few hours outside of their homes during lockdown, this local artist nailed bringing the great outdoors in.
Forest-inspired Rae Le Main's favourite piece that she created during 2020 was influenced by the sea as well as the woods, after inspiration struck during a beach walk during lockdown.

Although similar to her usual style, Rae's ‘The Sea Meets The Woods’ is actually her first piece made out of driftwood.
Rae explains: "I lived five minutes from a beach, so I would spend a lot of my daily two hours walking there. I always came across bits of driftwood and decided it would be interesting to use some with my mushrooms.
"This was my first piece with driftwood and I was so happy with how it looked. I think it’s a wonderful combination of the sea and the woodlands."
