Beaulieu students have broken up for Christmas early today after a water pipe on the premises burst overnight forcing the school to close for the day.
Headmaster of the school Chris Beirne put out a tweet advising students to stay at home.
Today is the last day of term until the New Year.
He wrote: "Urgent notice to all Beaulieu students & parents – due to a major water pipe burst overnight on-site Jersey Water have had to turn all water off to the Beaulieu site which means a school closure day – if you have not set off for school stay at home."

The Parish has been informed and Jersey Water engineers are currently on site attending to the issue.
The school will re-open on Monday between 09:00 and 11:00 for students to collect their belongings before Christmas.
