Jersey Police are appealing for information after they say a moped was deliberately set on fire in Le Geyt Estate in St. Saviour between 19:45 and 20:00 last night.
It happened close to a communal outbuilding, near to the centre car park of the estate.
Five firefighters from Blue Watch dealt with the blaze, which had spread to a storage shed nearby and broken onto the roof.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Police on 612612.
