A teenage boy’s arm was broken after he was hit by a car while cycling after school yesterday.
Police said the 14-year-old was struck by a Nissan Juke on the junction of La Rue du Maupertuis and La Rue de Samares between 15:30 and 16:00.
The driver – a female in her 40s described as having hazel hair and freckles, and wearing a blue jacket – “stopped briefly” to speak with the boy, but was then said to have left the area.
A young boy in school uniform was said to have been in the passenger seat at the time.
