A 27-year-old man will appear in Court this morning charged with attempted murder, following what the police are describing as a "serious assault" over the weekend.
It left a 19-year-old man with serious, but not life threatening, injuries. He remains in hospital.
Darren McKeegans was charged following the incident which apparently took place in a flat close to the Robin Hood junction in St Helier, at around 06:30 yesterday.
The Police are appealing for witnesses, and say they will be providing 'reassurance patrols' in the area.
