Motorists are being advised that the Tunnel will be closed overnight for two weeks for a routine survey.
From Monday 27 January until 7 February, the Tunnel will be closed from 19:00 to 06:00 to allow structural engineers to conduct a survey of its concrete lining.
This test was last undertaken in 2015.
The closures will only take place between Monday and Thursday each week, with the Tunnel to be open as usual each weekend.
The results from the survey will assist the Infrastructure and Environment Department to understand the requirements of future improvements.
A Government statement thanked islanders for their patience ahead of the work.
"This work takes place to ensure the Tunnel infrastructure is maintained and continues to be fit for purpose," it said.
