Two trainee electricians have been showing real spark at Highlands College.
John Bradshaw and Conrad Hacquoil have won the College’s Apprentice of the Year Award and Outstanding Achievement Award 2015.
John scooped Apprentice of the Year for the work he put in to the City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation Diploma and plans to continue his electrical studies.
Conrad, a mature student, went back to college in 2011. He has since successfully completed both his Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installations with great results and is now studying for the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
The awards were sponsored by Electrical Supplies and Machinery (ESM).
James Haydn, Branch Manager and Daniel Harrison, Account Manager at ESM said: “We would like to congratulate both John and Conrad on all their hard work in successfully completing their apprenticeship training and being selected for these awards.
“We are delighted to be able to support Highlands College in the training and education of electrical apprentices.”
