Vaping, eating disorders and mobile phone safety are to be topics of discussion within a new series of informative talks being launched by Beaulieu Convent School to help parents navigate some of the challenges facing young islanders.
The school has said its upcoming 'Beaulieu Insights' talks are intended to provide "valuable insights and practical strategies to support children's well-being and development".
It explained that the initiative came about following conversations with parents "and reflects our commitment to addressing the topics they feel are most relevant".
Headteacher Matthew Burke – who joined the school this September – said: "As a school, we are not afraid to confront challenging issues – our goal is to support and equip our community with insights and understanding, fostering open dialogue and strengthening connections both within our school and across the island."

Mr Burke added: "Beaulieu Insights represents our continued dedication to serving as a trusted partner in the education, wellbeing, and holistic development of our young people.
"We look forward to seeing members of the Beaulieu community and the wider public join us for these meaningful discussions."
The first talk is due to take place later this month, with a focus on mobile phone safety.
It is set to include two guest speakers, Robin Sharp and Neil Buirski from Schools Mobile, who will discuss how to help protect children from online threats.
