The jury is expected to return a verdict later today against a 38-year-old man who is accused of rape and indecent assault on a woman in her early 20s.
Marcio Patricio Figueira Dias is pleading not guilty to all charges which include three counts of incitement to pervert the course of justice.
Yesterday both the prosecution led by Crown Advocate Howard Sharp and the defendant's advocate Sarah Dale made their submissions to the jury.
Proceedings will resume this morning with the Bailiff William Bailhache summing up the case for the 12 members of the jury who are expected to return a verdict later in the day.
