A 14-year-old boy suffered injuries to his face and head after being kicked off his bike before being punched and kicked by another boy, Police have said in an appeal for more information.
The alleged assault on the teen reportedly took place around 19:30 on La Rue Le Masurier in the area of St. Helier's Grand Marché on Saturday.
Describing what happened in more depth, a spokesperson said: "The incident involved two 14-year-old boys and took place on the pedestrian crossing. One of the boys kicked the other off his bike and began to punch and kick him while he was on the floor. This boy suffered minor injuries to his face and head.
"The 14 year old assailant had short dark hair and was wearing a black hooded top and dark jeans."
