Horrified by the "evil unleashed" on Ukraine by Russia, a local poet has penned a response to the "little man" in charge.
Russian forces launched an assault on Ukraine, after months of a military build-up, on 24 February 2022.
Leader Vladimir Putin warned other countries that any attempt to interfere would lead to “consequences they have never seen”.
Here's Juliette Hart's message to him...
Little man, you walk as if you invented the swagger,
Small eyes are insignificant slits of anger,
Your reflexes voluntarily twitch the dagger
And fingers thrill with the power of trigger.
Revenge, avenge, war and propaganda,
To re-right history is your agenda,
A big name, for a little man, your coda,
But bully-force is weakness; that’s what we’ll remember.
