A Jersey boxing fitness business has managed to generate more than £1,000 for a local cancer charity with a unique fundraiser inspired by the support given to the founder's family.
On Sunday 4 August, BoxinBusiness's '3 Gyms, 1 Challenge' brought 42 islanders together to generate funds for Macmillan Jersey.
The challenge saw participants undertake three back-to-back 30-minute fitness sessions, each held at a different Boxin Business location, where they had just 15 minutes between sessions to run to the next St Helier gym.
Thanks to the sweat – and maybe tears – the event successfully raised over £1,000.
"We are incredibly grateful to BoxinBusiness for their outstanding support," said Steph Gibaut, CEO at Macmillan Jersey.
"The funds raised will go directly towards providing essential services, including emotional, practical, and wellbeing support to anyone affected by cancer here in Jersey. The community spirit demonstrated at this event is truly inspiring, and we cannot thank everyone involved enough."

Macmillan Jersey extend a special thank you to Ben, Alan, the entire Boxin Business team, and all the participants who made this event such a success.
Ben Murray, owner of BoxinBusiness, shared his personal motivation for organising the event: "After the way Macmillan Jersey has supported my family over the past months, it was a pleasure to raise some money for such a great cause."
