Sponsored by Standard Chartered Jersey, the Jersey Marathon was assisted by many volunteer marshals, and St John Ambulance who provided vital first aid on the day. The local chosen charity also receives half the funds raised by runners.
The remaining half goes to Standard Chartered's own global initiative, Futuremakers, which tackles inequality for young people in communities and promotes greater economic inclusion.

Having put out an "urgent" call for 40 additional marathon marshals a week before the event, organisers said: "We had a great response to the call out and are thankful to the community of Jersey for their continued support of the event."
