The seventh iteration of an annual run in aid of Headway Jersey is set to be held the day before what would have been the 66th birthday of the brain tumour sufferer it was set up in memory of.
'Running for Frubbs' is a 10-mile race which will take place on Sunday 24 November.
This year marks the seventh year of the charity run which is held in memory of Frank MacFarlane, a Headway Jersey member who sadly passed away in 2017.

Frank, affectionately known as ‘Frubbs’, became a part of the Headway Jersey community following his brain tumour diagnosis.
His friend and Headway Jersey ambassador Harry McAlinden set up the 'Running for Frubbs' race to celebrate Frank’s memory, whilst also raising essential funds to support those affected by brain injuries in Jersey.
This year's run will take place just one day before what would have been Frank’s 66th birthday.
All funds raised will stay in Jersey and directly benefit Headway's work providing vital services to individuals living with a brain injury, as well as their families and carers.
This year's race t-shirts have been designed by another Headway Jersey member, Robert Jeffroy.

Sarah Le Page, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Headway Jersey, said: “We are privileged to continue the Running for Frubbs 10 Mile Race for the seventh year, as it has become a much anticipated event in the local running community.
“Frank was a dear friend to many and this race is a fantastic way of honouring his memory.
“The funds raised help us provide vital support to people affected by brain injuries, but it’s about so much more than fundraising.
“This race shines a light on the stories of our members and is an opportunity to celebrate their strength and resilience."
'Running for Frubbs' takes place on Sunday 24 November, starting and finishing at Castle Quay on the Waterfront.
The race will start at 10:00 and you can register to enter HERE.
Headway Jersey is also asking for volunteers to help with marshalling, serving refreshments and baking cakes for the post race awards.
Anyone interested in getting involved is encouraged should contact the charity by emailing fundraising@headway.org.je or by calling 505937.
