Acquisition by Vantage Limited

Vantage Limited (“Vantage”), one of Jersey’s leading insurance and pension businesses, is delighted to announce the acquisition of Capital Insurance Brokers (CI) Limited (“Capital”) (for an undisclosed sum).

Under there terms of the deal - which has been granted regulatory approval - all of Capital’s staff will be employed by Vantage and will move to work from their offices in Grenville Street, St Helier.

Following the acquisition, the company will rename Capital Insurance Brokers (CI) Ltd to Vantage Insurance Brokers Limited on 1st November 2014 and, in line with a corporate re-structure of its various business lines, and following regulatory approval Vantage will integrate its current clients into this dedicated insurance broking business.

The integration of Capital Insurance into Vantage, along with all employees joining us, is an exciting part of our development. We have no plans to become the largest insurance firm on the Island, as I feel this tends to allow firms to evolve into impersonal operations.
