CI Travel Group have announced the launch of a new direct route from Jersey to Croatia starting next summer.
The route, to Split on Croatia's Adriatic coast, joins several other direct flights to southern Europe as part of CI Travel Group's FlyDirect programme.
Matt Thomas, the chief executive of Ports of Jersey, said: "We are delighted to see the continued growth of the FlyDirect programme in 2024 and the introduction of the new route to the beautiful location of Split.
"We are particularly pleased that islanders will be able to take advantage of an even greater choice of direct flights with FlyDirect when choosing their holiday destinations next year."
The flights will be operated by FlyDirect's partner airline BA CityFlyer, which is a subsidiary of British Airways.
CI Travel Group managing director Robert Mackenzie added: "Once again this summer, we have been overwhelmed by the support for our direct flights from Jersey to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean and Portugal.
"...In response to demand to add new destinations, we are delighted to offer for the first time, a destination in the eastern part of the Mediterranean.
"Croatia's stunning Dalmatian Coast offers so much choice for visitors and we believe that the direct service to Split will prove to be as popular as our other routes, next summer."
