The Atlantic Hotel has appointed a new General Manager with experience managing award-winning, boutique hotels across Europe and the US.
Originally from Germany, Alexander Stiller previously spent two years in Jersey, working at the Somerville Hotel earlier in this career.
Mr Stiller said he was particularly pleased to be returning to the island. His youngest son was born in Jersey and Mr Stiller believes it is perfect for families with its welcoming community.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “The Atlantic is an iconic property in a spectacularly beautiful setting in Jersey and has long been recognised as one of the island’s leading hotels. This role is a fantastic opportunity to be able to interact with guests on a daily basis, while working with a highly professional team in a hands-on role. The strong family atmosphere at The Atlantic makes for a great environment in which to continue to move the hotel forward.”
Patrick Burke, Owner and Managing Director at The Atlantic, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Alexander Stiller as our new General Manager. He joins us at an exciting time as we plan to further enhance service levels into 2019. Alex has a good understanding of Jersey having worked on the island before and I have no doubt that with his expertise and enthusiasm he will ensure that the guest experience at The Atlantic Hotel & Ocean Restaurant remains second to none.”
