Aztec Group has been recognised as the Fund Administrator of the Year at the prestigious 2015 British Private Equity Awards.
The British Private Equity Awards celebrate innovation and excellence in the industry, recognising commercial professionalism, innovative expertise and contribution to building British businesses.
This year’s Judging Panel, made up of industry experts and chaired by Alice Murray, the Editor of unquote", reviewed the performance of all Fund Advisory category entrants during the past year before shortlisting Augentius, the Aztec Group and Langham Hall. The vote was then opened to the wider Private Equity community.
Once again, the Aztec Group demonstrated merits of providing offshore and onshore outsourcing solutions delivered by experienced client-centric teams and leading technology, carefully developed to address the needs of Private Equity Fund Managers.
Alan Ross, Head of Private Equity Fund Services, said: “We are delighted that our efforts to lead the way in fund and corporate services have been recognised not only by our clients and business contacts but also by the wider industry.
"Our exceptional growth, unrivalled retention rates and industry recognition has always been down to the passion and determination of our teams. We are committed to supporting the British Private Equity industry by getting to know our clients and delivering a service which adds value to their operations.”
Since last being recognised as the Fund Administrator of the Year, the Group has continued to evolve its service offering to meet the needs of Fund Managers and investors, formalising a four product outsourcing proposition which delivers a comprehensive range of leading services, including Fund, Corporate, Advanced Portfolio and Depositary Services.
In addition, the Aztec Group supported its existing clients through numerous fund launches and new office openings in the Netherlands and Sweden. Multiple funds were migrated, new start-ups were supported across their six onshore and offshore jurisdictions and the Group continued to strengthen its ten-years’ eFront expertise by building an in-house team of Financial Systems specialists.
James Bermingham, who collected the award on the night, said: “It is great to win this award for the fourth time, demonstrating our continued focus on our clients and the service we deliver year after year.”
