Jersey-based private wealth management, trustee and corporate services firm Baccata has made two senior appointments.
Justin Clapham will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer after one year at the firm. His new role will see him focus on corporate governance and individual strategic initiatives.
He is an accredited Chartered Director and Wealth Manager, Fellow of the Institute of Directors and of the ACI, as well as holding an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Tim Cartwright, meanwhile, will step into the role of Senior Consultant. The new role comes after three decades of working with international private clients. Most recently, he has concentrated on the Middle Eastern and South African markets - both of which are important areas for Baccata.
The firm say that the two appointments are evidence of its commitment to investing in Jersey.
Managing Director Nick Falla (pictured) commented: “Recent years have seen a trend for consolidation through mergers and acquisitions in the island’s trust sector but these appointments and our move to new offices show that many clients still want independent trust companies that offer a level of personal service that larger firms just cannot deliver.”
“There’s no doubt that our clients will appreciate the experience that Justin and Tim bring to Baccata, particularly with regard to their excellent records in delivering high quality services to global clients.”
