Independent corporate service provider Belasko is expanding to Jersey.
The Belasko Group’s expansion aims to create new opportunities for the business to work with intermediaries, corporate and institutional clients, and high net worth individuals who regularly use Jersey as a domicile for their offshore structures.
Directors Mark O’Malley, Alan Parsons, Nicola Walker and Katrina Le Vesconte will lead the new Jersey office.
To date, the Belasko Group has been based in Guernsey.
Nicola Walker, Belasko’s Managing Director, said: “Belasko’s Guernsey business launched six years ago and now has 30 staff. As we are well established it made sense for us to expand into Jersey, a jurisdiction we and many of our clients know well and which has a robust infrastructure and the highest standards of regulation and governance. Jersey will provide us with new and exciting opportunities and an extended pool of talent which will be valuable as we continue to expand the team.
“At Belasko we pride ourselves on understanding our client’s needs and building strong and lasting relationships with them. Often our clients, intermediaries and contacts will have a preference for either Jersey or Guernsey so having a presence in both islands will give us a wider range of opportunities and expertise for the business and additional options for our clients.”
