Jersey law firm Benest & Syvret has appointed solicitor Claire Kingham to its practice.

With over 23 years' experience practising law in Jersey, Claire brings a wealth of experience within both the Probate and employment law arena.

Having studied law at Nottingham Trent University, Claire completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guilford, and was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Employment Law from Surrey University.

Claire is an established employment practitioner who has acted in a number of significant cases and has been cited in the Employment and Discrimination Tribunal judgments. Claire has extensive experience of achieving settlements of employment disputes either through negotiation, conciliation or mediation.

In her previous roles, Claire has demonstrated her extensive knowledge of probate for both local and international clients. Claire specialises in estate planning and complex will drafting along with the management of curatorship matters for local clients.
