Rob Veron, CEO Blue Islands said that there were now more seats and convenient flight times, which would be suited to the weekend traveller.
"For added connectivity, our services are timed to also enable Guernsey residents to fly on Blue Islands operated services via Jersey to Bristol," he commented.
Nigel Scott, Business Development Director at Bristol Airport, added: “The extra capacity offers a greater choice and flexibility of flights whether passengers are using Bristol Airport as a gateway to the region or selecting to fly to Jersey and using the service to connect between the Channel Islands.”
The news comes as Blue Islands celebrates its 11th year in partnership with Swiss tour operator Rolf Meier Reisen to operate an 18-week charter service from Zurich to Jersey and Guernsey.
Mr Veron said he was "delighted" Blue Islands were selected again, adding: “As a Channel Islands based airline, partnering with specialist tour operators serving niche markets that want to visit Guernsey and Jersey are essential to the visitor economy and reinforces our commitment to the rejuvenation of our tourism industry."
