Blue Islands have expanded their offering by adding a new route to Cornwall.
The airline will now be adding three weekly flights from Guernsey/Jersey to Cornwall Airport Newquay starting from 3 June.
Flights will start in Guernsey with a stop in Jersey before continuing to Cornwall Airport Newquay, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season until 31 August 2019.
Rob Veron, CEO, Blue Islands said: “Following the recent introduction of Guernsey – London Southend and Guernsey – Liverpool services, the exciting addition of Cornwall Airport Newquay to the Blue Islands route network provides the most convenient access to this stunning part of the UK direct from the Channel Islands.
“Cornwall and the Channel Islands are both stunning regions with many similarities, the addition of direct flights means residents can now appreciate discovering the respective unique cultures and subtle nuances that exist beyond the stunning coastlines, quaint harbours, picturesque countryside as well as buzzing beach and surf scenes.”

Al Titterington, Managing Director, CAN added: “The Channel Islands are currently hard to reach for passengers in our catchment, with them having to either drive hours to the nearest airport with direct services or having to drive to the UK South Coast and take a ferry, with this being a journey which could take up to eight hours or more.
"By offering this seamless one-hour flight to Jersey and onwards to Guernsey, we now have a much more sustainable and customer friendly option for people wanting to reach this part of the world, and for those in the Channel Islands wanting to visit our great county.”
