A UBS Wealth Management Client Advisor in Jersey has become a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities after passing a key exam.
The Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification (PCIAM) is designed to help practitioners demonstrate a broad understanding of the principles of private client investment advice within the current regulatory environment and structure a suitable portfolio, selecting from a range of financial products to meet client objectives.
It is achieved by completing a recommended 200 hours of study and sitting a three-hour written exam.
UBS’s Joe Peacock said he was “delighted” to have passed the exam and “grateful to UBS for supporting me whilst I was studying.”
“It is worth the effort that it takes to achieve these qualifications as the knowledge gained gives me invaluable insight that I can take to my clients,” he said.
