Freedom Media shortlisted for marketing awards

Wednesday 30 January 2019

Three campaigns by local creative agency Freedom Media have been shortlisted for the 2019 Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Awards.

Freedom Media is the only agency in the Channel Islands to be shortlisted for the awards, which aim to identify and celebrate outstanding marketing by organisations, individuals and teams.

Three of the agency's campaigns feature in the shortlist: Jersey Dairy’s #TooGoodNotToShare campaign for the Best Integrated Campaign (SME), the Royal British Legion for Best Use of PR for their WWI 'Remembering the Fallen' campaign, and UK procurement company 2buy2 for Best Partnership Marketing Campaign with the Department for Education (UK).

Hannah Shellswell, Creative Director at Freedom Media, said: “It is an absolute honour for three of our 2018 client campaigns to be recognised at the prestigious CIM Excellence Awards. I am very proud of our talented team who work with all of our clients to deliver first-class campaigns and results. It is quite something to be returning for the third time to the National CIM Awards and to be shortlisted against multi-jurisdictional marketing agencies that look after global brands such as Lucozade, Baileys and Warner Brothers.”

Martyn White, Account Director at Freedom Media, added: “To work with these clients has been a privilege. Each campaign has delivered real measurable results from improving milk sales to exceeding fundraising targets to realising huge savings for schools. We’re proud to deliver robust marketing, PR and brand building campaigns for all of our clients, with these three national CIM award nominations recognition of our approach to marketing excellence.”

The winners will be announced in London on 11 April.
