The Greenhills Country House Hotel has been awarded 4 Silver Stars by the AA for the first time.
Its merit score puts the newly refurbished hotel in the very highest category of four star hotels in the Island and across the UK.
The AA asses all areas within the hotel including cleanliness, service, food, bedrooms, public areas and hospitality and work to a very stringent criteria.
The Hotel has undergone a huge transformation over the winter and the latest phase has seen 11 more bedrooms, the bar, reception and lounge areas of the 340 year-old hotel renovated, becoming exciting new spaces allowing an enhanced hospitality experience for local residents and visitors.
The Seymour Hotel Group's Sales and Marketing Manager Oliver Appleyard said: “We are extremely proud of the recent transformation that the refurbishment has made and delighted that the AA have awarded us with such a high rating. This recognition is testament to the hard work of all the staff and management at the hotel who look forward to welcoming returning guests and those that are yet to visit the peaceful haven that is Greenhills."
