Hawksford has appointed a new Business Development Director with 21 years’ industry experience.
Peter Cheesley joins the Hawksford Group from Nautilus Trust, where he was Head of Business Development. In his new role, which focuses on corporate, private client and fund services, he will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for Hawksford’s international offices.
"I am looking forward to growing the global business and enhancing Hawksford’s product offerings. Using the experience I have gained in the banking, legal and fiduciary sectors, I will focus on developing successful new business relationships and maximising revenue opportunities," said Mr Cheesley.
"Peter’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Hawksford as we continue our expansion plans in our core markets. He will be instrumental in helping to drive the strategic direction of the company, whilst building existing and new relationships with global clients, their advisers and professional services contacts," said Michael Powell, Hawksford director.
Prior to working at Nautilus Trust, Mr Cheesley was head of business development for Europe at Ogier. Mr Cheesley, who has a degree and a diploma in financial services, has also held positions as senior business development manager in 'magic circle' law firms in London, including Clifford Chance and Pinsent Masons.
