Friday 01 April 2016

Hawksford has appointed a client manager with 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

David Rimmer will focus on business development and managing new client portfolios. He will help to identify new business opportunities for Hawksford’s private client and corporate teams, whilst also generating and managing new business portfolios.

Mr Rimmer joins Hawksford from RBC Trust Company where he worked for 16 years, most recently holding the position of client manager. With extensive Far East and Latin American international estate planning knowledge, he worked with UK, Canadian, US, Latin America and Far East clients and their advisers to deliver cross border planning solutions.

He was also responsible for business development. Prior to joining RBC, Mr Rimmer, who is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, worked at Ernst & Young Trust Company for three years.

Hawksford Director Steve Robinson said: "David’s specialist international estate planning knowledge, combined with his client management skills, will be invaluable and I’m pleased he has made the decision to join Hawksford. His skills and expertise will contribute to Hawksford’s continued growth and the delivery of impactful solutions to our increasingly global clients.

"I am looking forward to developing Hawksford’s growing global businesses, specifically within Asia, and increasing their Latin American and US cross border presence, whilst also working on my own portfolio of new clients. My ambition is to contribute to revenue growth and assets under administration by using my global knowledge and contacts."
